The Supervision Committee of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has been established by the National bank of the Kyrgyz Republic NBKR Board decision 

The Supervision Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic is authorized to make decisions on its competence in regulating and supervising the activities of commercial banks and other financial and credit institutions licensed and regulated by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic. 

In its work, the Supervision Committee of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic is guided by the regulatory legal acts of the Kyrgyz Republic and the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic. 

The Supervision Committee of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic is a permanent collegial body consisting of 8 (eight) members: the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank/a member of the National bank of the Kyrgyz Republic Board - supervisor of the supervision unit (Chairman of the Committee), the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank (without the right to vote), member of the National bank of the Kyrgyz Republic Board, heads of structural subdivisions of the National Bank. 

For the reporting 2017 period, 51 meetings of the Supervision Committee of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic were held. Total 183 issues were studied, namely:  

а). 127 issues on the activities of commercial banks; 

b). 18 issues on the NFCI activities;  

c). 38 issues on organizational activities of the supervision unit of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
