Payment System Committee  

  

The Payment System Committee of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic (hereinafter referred to as the “PSC”) was established in 2001 by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic Board decision. In its work, the PSC is guided by the Regulation “On the Payment System Committee of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic” and the regulatory legal acts of the Kyrgyz Republic.  

The PSC defines the directions of payment system development in the Kyrgyz Republic, goals and objectives for development, regulation and oversight over the payment system in the Kyrgyz Republic, licensing, regulation and supervision over the payment system operators and the payment organizations.  

During 2022, 16 meetings of the PSC were held, where 35 issues were considered.
