Cash turnover situation in the Kyrgyz Republic in the 2 quarter of 2024 

Total amount of active money аs of July 1, 2024 constituted 222 635.2 million soms; 7 764.2 million soms out of the sum belonged to cash departments of commercial banks 214 871.0 million soms the rest belonged to the extra-bank system (in comparison with the corresponding period of the past year this sum increased by 20.1 percent which is equal to 36 003.9 million soms). 

In the 2 quarter of 2024, 1 265 413.2 million soms entered the cash departments of commercial banks. In comparison with the 2 quarter of 2023, this sum increased by 15.2 percent which is equal to 167 161.6 million soms. 

Change of cash inflows into the cash departments of commercial banks’ institutions is presented in the chart No.1:

In the 2 quarter of 2024, 1 290 908.1 million soms were paid from the cash departments of commercial banks. In comparison with the 2 quarter of 2023, this sum increased by 15.9 percent which is equal to 177 381.8 million soms.

For the 2 quarter of 2024 cash repayment to the cash departments of commercial banks amounted to 98.0 percent. (in comparison with the corresponding period of 2023, this index decreased by 0.6 percentage points).
