Circulation coin in denomination of 3 Som 

 

 

 

The obverse side of the coin shall bear an image of "kookor", a traditional Kyrgyz container made of leather for kymyz, the traditional drink. Each "kookor" image bears a symbol of "tumar" represented by a triangle; the latter is widely used in various Kyrgyz crafts.   

 

The reverse side of the coin shall bear the Coat of Arms of the Kyrgyz Republic and the year when the coin was issued.

The circulation coin of 3 Som denomination has an official legal tender at the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
