On August 27, 2026, the Osh Regional Department of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic held a scheduled field lecture on financial literacy for residents of the villages of Sary-Tash and Nura, as well as for employees of the aiyl okmotu of Pamir-Alai aiyl aimak (village administration) in Alai District of Osh Oblast.
During the lecture, the information on the role and functions of the National Bank, the history of the national currency, the stages of its development, its security features, as well as on types of loans, deposits, and savings methods was presented. Particular attention was paid to practical recommendations for preventing young people from engaging in financial fraud and dropping.
At the same time, the process for activating and lifting a self-ban on a loan in the “Tunduk” mobile application was demonstrated.
