On May 16, 2025, within the frames of the International Museum Day, an open day was held in the Numismatic Museum of the Osh Regional Department of the National Bank.
The guests were familiarized with the history of creation and development of the national currency, with the stages of production of banknotes and coins, with the exposition devoted to the history of monetary circulation of Kyrgyzstan during the period of prosperity of the Great Silk Road, with the collection coins issued by the National Bank for 1995-2025.
In addition, the visitors listened to lectures on the history of the national currency, stages of its development and security features.
