Monetary Regulation Committee 

 

Monetary Regulation Committee develops and implements the operational decision-making on liquidity management issues. The main objectives are: 

- assessment of the current situation, development of and making the decisions on open market and foreign exchange market operations; 

- consideration of recommendations and making the decisions on application of the monetary policy instruments based on the regulatory legal acts of the National Bank. 

In 2021, the Monetary Regulation Committee held 54 meetings on the liquidity management in the banking system, determination the rates of the interest rate corridor around of the policy rate (key rate) and other issues of application of the monetary policy instruments.
